Tell us whether or not you know your credit score and we'll enter you in a drawing to win a $20 Amazon Gift Card!

I check my credit score once or twice a year. More importantly, I check my credit report 3 times a year for anything I don't recognize.

There are 3 credit reporting agencies that have to each give you one free report per year, so I have Google Calendar remind me which report to request when.

Well, I USED to know it. Two years ago, it was 799. I was told to cancel my unused credit card accounts to boost it. It's now at a 740. Who knows what it is today.

I haven't checked it since I bought my car in 2003. Unless you are using and needing credit or know you have credit issues, I can't see paying to get your score.

I check my credit score at least once a month... partly because I'm about a year and four months away from paying off my debt and I wanted to get some 0% balance transfer credit cards... so I waited til it was good and pounced!

Two important notes to people though: 1) you have THREE credit scores (one from each of the bureaus--TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian) and 2) the scores you can get yourself are NOT the same as the ones companies pull. For example, mine was 723 when I pulled it myself. The cc company I just got a card with told me it was 742. Same bureau.

I know around what my score is, but don't know exactly. I just check every year on the free annual government credit report to make sure everything is ok.

I checked once a year when you can get the free credit score rating. Its important to know your number and make wise choices.

I know roughly what our score is. I did check last year, but haven't since. I don't imagine it has changed much
