Editor's Note: Congratulations to Guest, Gina, and Suz_Glo for winning this week's contest!
One of the major themes of Thanksgiving is gratitude. Ideally, we would show our thanks for the important (and the not so important) things in life every day of the year, but it can sometimes be left on the wayside when life gets busy or difficult. This is a good time for all of us to remember the positive things in our lives.
What are you most grateful for? What is your favorite way to express gratitude? When was the last time you said thank you — and really meant it?
Tell us what you are most grateful for and we'll enter you in a drawing to win a $20 Amazon Gift Card!
We're doing three giveaways — here's how you can win!
If you're inspired to write a whole blog post OR you have a photo on flickr to share, please link to it in the comments or tweet it.
Good Luck!

I recently had knee surgery and it has made me appreciate the ability to take a walk. If a person takes time to be grateful, even the tiniest things can make one very happy.
I am most grateful for my family and my husband and our friends. We are blessed to know so many special people.
I am most grateful my salvation in Jesus. After that, my sweet and loving family are the best things in my life. My favorite way to express gratitude is to give little thoughtful gifts and saying thank you! I said Thank You to my friends today who have been praying for some health concerns I've had lately.

I am thankful for my family! They will all be arriving at my house and having Thanksgiving with me! I am especially thankful that my Elderly Dad is not sick anymore and he will be with us!
I am grateful every day I awake. Too many times the busy life we make for ourselves have created for us a world of grab and take. We get so lost in the want of things that we forget what blessings we have. Happiness is not achieved by stuff but by life itself. Being thankful you have a new day to live has immense power on your life and how you see each an every day. The simple pleasures of sight, taste, smell, breath and touch are too often taken for granted.
I am grateful for all the people in my life who have loved, supported and cherished me during the most difficult season in my life. And my Heavenly Father, who placed them there.
I am most grateful for the last nine years I've been given since being diagnosed with stage four bilateral lung cancer in September, 2005. Each day I am with my loved ones and friends is a blessing.

Most grateful for my hubby and children and now a grandson and the rest of our family.
Family, friends, safety, health, and an incredible year! I have much to be grateful for.
While we are all grateful for friends and family, when I am walking my dog, I like to stop and just enjoy being outside. I am grateful I live in a place that allows me the freedom to enjoy nature. Or to travel to a city for the museums and arts. When so many are being forced from their homes or feel trapped in their country, I have been given a degree of freedom that dreams are made of and I hope I never take that for granted.
I'm most grateful for knowing and believing in my Lord and Savior! I am so very loved and blessed.
I'm thankful for my husband and our sons--the three best guys in the world!
In 2013, my husband had to have his right leg amputated because of a knee replacement that went bad. He spent the better part of nine months of last year in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab hospitals, and a long term acute care hospital. And in the middle of all of the ordeal, my father died. Early in the fall of 2013, however, I started keeping a gratitude journal and doing a great deal of research about gratitude. It made all of the difference in the world in how I experienced my life. Indeed, I found that I had never felt more grateful than I did last fall when we were in the midst of that ordeal. I have continued to keep the gratitude journal and practice disciplines of rejoicing, and I expect that I will for the rest of my life.
I am so grateful for my good friends and family. I show them by doing things for them without being asked and helping out every way I can. My neighbors and I pick up each others mail and packages as wells pet sitting when we are away. My favorite way to show my gratitude is to give away the pottery I make.
I'm most grateful for my health. Without it, you have nothing. Also, I'm grateful for having such a nice family and friends. And last but not least, I'm grateful to be able to read the Wisebread.com, hehe. Merry upcoming Xmas to you all (better sooner than later, lol)!
I am grateful for my brother and my friends. They are always there for me. Today, I thanked the server at Dunkin Donuts for being there on Thanksgiving & put extra money in the tip jar. My family & friends I thank by supporting them in anyway I can.
I am grateful that I have my health and the financial resources to make choices on my own terms.
I am grateful that I had the foresight to become debt free after a series of unfortunate events in my life. That freedom allows you to live your life in a very thoughtful and complete way. I would have never made it otherwise.
I am most thankful for my family & my good health... after that, for our home.
I am most thankful for receiving the salvation of Jesus and wonderful changes that a relationship with Him has made in my life. I am also thankful family and friends that are loving and supportive as well as for the many opportunities that I can return that love and support to them.
I am grateful for the love and support of my family and friends.
