I love New Year's resolutions. The idea that you get to reinvent yourself is such a wonderful concept.

Share your ideas and we'll enter you in a drawing to win a $20 Amazon Gift Card!

My new year's resolution is to save $ up & pay off my credit card. I want to have enough money for 3 months worth of bills for those just in case moments.
@luv_mydachshund
My big resolutions are to get a job, move out of my parents' house, and edit both of my books. There are some smaller goals in the mix as well, such as going to a write-a-thon in November and to read 25 new books, but if I have to sacrifice one of those for the big resolutions, it's not a huge deal. (Except for the write-a-thon.)
Usually its an overshoot for me.
-Get a life
-Get friends
-Lose weight
-Get a better job/make more money
-Go to school
-destroy/dominate people
-Throw out unnecessary stuff lying around house
-Win the lotto
-Cure Cancer
-Be a nicer person
-drink more water
Well, my last years resolution was to get fit and learn to eat better and I did keep that resolution, I want to keep that up. This year, I would like to be more mindful of my finances and be more responsible with them. It seems that if I see a pair of shoes that I like, I have to have them, lol. Thanks so much for the chance! :)

And liked the post on FB (username: Les Cerises).
My 2011 resolutions are to do even better in school this coming semester than I did this past semester (study harder, be less distracted); try to work out and take care of my own health and put myself first and do what I can to help others.
I have 2 main goals. The usual 'eat better, exercise more, lose weight' one (cause it really is all tied together! The second goal is to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life...since my job is ending this week!
I moved to a new city about 2 years ago, away from my gym, and I haven't worked out regularly since that time. I joined a NEW gym last week, and my resolution is to get back to my old work-out schedule!
My New Year's resolution is to be a better person - not gossiping, being more considerate, watching my language!
The same one I do every year... eat healthier! :)

My resolution for 2011 is to eat out less and cook more - specifically, to try at least one new recipe a week and to limit myself to two meals in restaurants a week to save money and eat better.
My 2011 resolutions is to eat healthier. (That will be no easy task, considering I'm a Ben & Jerry junkie.)
I now have a Snowball budget and will have all debts (aside from mortgage) paid off by December of this year. I look forward to keeping track of every penny ~ for the first time in my life.
I have a financial resolution, to pay off my credit card, which I should be able to do by the summer barring an emergency. I also have a health resolution, to increase my activity level. I'm keeping track on a calendar of how long I exercise each day.
My resolutions are to cook more meals at home (instead of ordering take-out), and to get outside and walk more.
I'm having surgery later this week, and I have vowed to follow the directions of the physical therapist. Exercise and I usually don't get along, but in this case, I need to rebuild my strength and stamina.
Thanks for a great giveaway!
I'm thinking smaller goals hoping to finish off one of our bills in the next few months, then work my way up.
Mine is to actually put away money for my retirement in a roth ira, and just save more money in general.
My New Years resolution is to have more patience. I'm fine with my kids, it's just other people that get under me skin very easy! Gotta work on that!
My resolution is to not touch a penny of my tax return, and add it to my emergency fund for a nice instant savings boost.
I have a lot this year. I can separate them into 4 categories:
Spirituality
Finance
=> Increase savings
=> Pay off 3 credit cards
=> Support a good cause
Health
=> Exercise 6 times a week
=> Loose weight
=> Run Marathon
=> Eat healthy
Misc
=> Keep room organized
=> Take GRE
=> Go to bed earlier
=> More effective work
I resolve to save all of my coins in my piggy bank.

My goal is to be a better, kinder person overall. Give more of myself to everybody, and more of my money to charities. Be even more considerate of people. Try to actively look for ways to perform random acts of kindness.
I think I'm already a pretty decent person, but sometimes I still feel like I'm not good enough...I'm not nice enough. I'm not generous enough. I'm not always understanding enough. Etc. This year, I want to improve that.
What are your resolutions for 2011? Well basically to not make a whole lot of resolutions that I have no chance of keeping. Just continue to try and find a job and help provide for my family is my plan for 2011.
Hopefully I will be more successful with this years new years resolution of eating better and exercising to lose weight
I actually don't make New Year's resolutions. I used to and they lasted about two weeks, so now I just try to start the year with a good attitude.
My resolution is to not procrastinate on my schoolwork, to focus on one thing at a time, and to enjoy the time I have free. I am always stressing out at the last minute about things that need to be done and I want to be done doing that! Thanks!
I want to eat better and try to gain 5 pounds so I can feel better! Great giveaway
thank and happy New Year!
My New Year's Resolution for 2011 is to be more aware. More aware of what I spend, more aware of what I eat, more aware of my family, more aware of who I am and what I am doing with my life. All the important stuff will fall under one of those categories.
My New Year's resolution is to adjust my eating and exercise so that I lose a pound a week this year.
I am going to be realistic about my health goals. I'm going to eat healthier but not focus so much on my actual weight
Thanks for the giveaway...my New Year's Resolution is to read more good books, and train with weights 3X a week !
My resolution is to lose ten pounds. I've been walking over 2 miles for 3 weeks now but have to eat healthier also!
This year is a big one for me and I hope to get a decent job which makes enough money to keep our house, get some training to get an even better job, exercise more, and spend more time with my kids and dog :D
