Many of the credit card offers that appear on the website are from credit card companies from which Wise Bread receives compensation. This compensation may impact how and where products appear on this site (including, for example, the order in which they appear). Credit cards provide a broad range of perks, benefits, and rewards, which can add up to be rather valuable reasons to use your card. In addition to these bonuses, there are credit cards which include another incentive - the opportunity to give back or donate to various organizations, just for using your credit card. Although you can use your credit card to make virtually any donation you choose, certain credit cards allow you to give back a little more, just for becoming a cardmember and using your credit card. If you are looking for a credit card that allows you to support or donate to charity, here are some great credit cards that give back.

Charity Charge World Mastercard® Credit Card

The Charity Charge World Mastercard® Credit Card is one of the only cards which is specifically for donating and giving back. This card awards 1% cash back on all purchases, which can be used to support up to three local or national nonprofit organizations. Your donations with this card are tax deductible. This card also underwrites cardholder donation processing fees, so that all your donation goes to your charity of choice. Because it is a World Mastercard, you also get the card benefits you would get with any other Mastercard, including ID theft protection, price protection, and extended warranty. There is no annual fee for this card.

Susan G. Komen® Cash Rewards Visa® credit card

Bank of America® has donated more than $8.0 million to Susan G. Komen since its Pink Ribbon program for credit cards and bank accounts was created in 2009. When you sign up for the Susan G. Komen® Cash Rewards Visa® credit card from Bank of America, Bank of America donates $3, plus 0.08% of the retail purchases made with the credit card. Bank of America guarantees $3.0 million to Susan G. Komen from June 2015 to December 2020. This card provides card holders an opportunity to support the organization’s breast cancer efforts, at no additional cost to the cardholder.

Cardholders also get 3% cash back on gas and 2% cash back at grocery stores and wholesale clubs for the first $2,500 in combined gas/grocery/wholesale club purchases each quarter, and 1% cash back on other purchases. There is also an online cash rewards bonus offer of $150 after making at least $500 in purchases in the first 90 days of account opening. There is no annual fee for this card.

World Wildlife Fund Credit Card

Another credit card that gives back is Bank of America’s World Wildlife Fund Credit Card. The World Wildlife Fund (or World Wide Fund for Nature) focuses on supporting over 1,300 environmental projects and conservation of the world’s oceans, forests, and freshwater ecosystems, and protection of endangered species. Bank of America donates a minimum of $3 for each new opened and activated World Wildlife Fund Credit Card, plus 0.08% of all retail purchases. When you renew your card account, Bank of America donates an additional $3. This card also awards 3% cash back on gas and 2% on groceries and wholesale club purchases for the first $2,500 in combined gas/grocery/wholesale club purchases each quarter, and 1% cash back for other purchases. As a new cardholder, you can earn an online cash rewards bonus of $150 after making at least $500 in purchases in the first 90 days of your account opening This is a great card for supporting and giving to an important effort to protect and preserve the world’s natural environment. There is no annual fee for this card.
