We shop for car insurance about once a year. So far Geico has been the best for us. We have our umbrella policy though them, as well. As far as the traits of millionaires, even wannabees, we drive our vehicles into the ground. We do not use the things we purchase as status symbols. We purchase things either because we need them (e.g., food) or because they make our lives better.

Don't get into an accident, tickets and don't speed. Maximize every bit of discounts one is eligible for. Finally shop around every renewal, eventually you'll hear the other company's agent say "we can't beat that rate". Then you know you finally have the best rate.

One often over looked discount is taking driver's safety course for an insurance discount.
