Best self-portrait photo ever

I'm a big fan of NASA's Image of the Day archives. It is usually a great place to find spectacular space images.

Imagine my disappointment when the image above wasn't featured as an image of the day. Instead, NASA picked this photo and this one. Those are nice photos too, but how can you beat the iconic image of earth's reflection on a space helmet?

Captain Picard was once asked if he has ever experienced a perfect moment:

Picard: A perfect moment?
Anij: When time seemed to stop and you could almost live in that moment.
Jean-Luc Picard: Seeing my home planet from space for the first time.

In a small way this photo gave me a sense of what Picard was talking about.

You and my husband both, Will. He's so into it. And of course, he's a fellow Trek fan as well. I remember that exact episode you just mentioned.
