Scalloped

I grew up with that dish. Another thing that's great about it is that you can have it as a side or add some ham and cheese and turn it into a main dish with a veggie on the side. You probably already know this divajean, but if you put the potatoes in the food processor, it takes like 3 seconds to get ready for a scallop (the potato slicing part that is).
