Default Affiliate Programs - How to add?

Eventually, I plan to add affiliates to my blog where appropriate. By appropriate, I am referring to adding affiliate sources that coincide with particular posts.

For example, if I were to write a post about savings rates or CD rates, I would have a link to an affiliate within my post that provided top savings or CD rates.

Is anyone aware of any affiliate programs or the best way to implement this to a personal finance blog?

thanks for reading.

Mike

I suggest joining Commission Junction and Linkshare since they are the two largest ones with thousands of merchants. They also pay very promptly by check or direct deposit. You can also join the Amazon affiliate program and insert links when you write a book or movie review. These programs are definitely worth joining since your links could potentially earn you money for as long as your posts are up. I know there are other programs like shareasale, but so far CJ and Amazon are the best for me.
