Reputation: | Thanks so much for this info. I am actually thinking about removing all my affiliate links from my blog except AA. I figure if I actively promote it or am conscious of one affiliate rather than 10s then I will have a better chance of making a sale.

Reputation: | A lot of times with advertisements, you will make your most money on spots you sell. Companies will pay more for advertising on a site that they know is directly related to their product. Amazon, google adsense etc take out the work of finding those companies and as a result you wont make as much.
