Default Best Firefox extensions for Bloggers

What are the Firefox extensions that help you as a blogger / web worker?

This is inspired by the productive FF extensions thread. The extensions there were interesting but aren't my "favorites". The extensions I've come to depend heavily on are geared towards web professionals.

A few favorites:

Tiny Menu - It's a nifty space saver when you have too many toolbars.

MeasureIt - For measuring the web.

ColorZilla

Sometimes you run across that site with the perfect balance of colors and you need to know what those colors are.

Firebug / Web Developer

Both these extensions give web designers/developers extra tools for dealing with websites. You can disable images, turn all links unvisited, display and edit CSS properties, and more....

Firebug is the more advanced extension. I was just starting to unlock its power when it started crashing Firefox on me. I had to disable it to make FF usable. Couldn't find the solution so I'm back to trusty old and stable Web Developer for now. (the screenshot below is of Web Developer)

I'm just starting to get my blog up and running, but here are some extensions that I think will be useful.

I agree that fireftp is a great extension. I've been using it for a while now and the less programs you have to open is always a blessing.

Read it Later is a extension that creates a sort of waiting room for links you want to read. This has helped me cut down of the number of tabs I have open, which used to be way too ridiculous.

The other extension that helped me go on a "tab diet" is the del.icio.us extension which lets me right click a page and put it in my list on del.icio.us. You may have a bookmarklet for this already. I like this because when you hit "tag a page" a separate window pops up and lets you pick popular tags already entered for the page. You don't have to type out your tags, you just click on the tags you find appropriate.

And the duo of extensions that I've used for all around productivity are Auto Copy and Paste and Go 2. Auto Copy allows me to highlight any text and it automatically is copied to the clipboard, no edit>copy or ctrl+c. Paste and Go 2 allows me to right click in the address bar or the google search bar and click paste and go which automatically pastes and, you guessed it, go. No clicking enter, it presses enter for you.

I use Google Reader, and there is a Firefox extension that allows you to click for the next article without going back to the Reader and to subscribe to a feed directly from that page.

I also like co.mments, which makes it easy to keep track of conversations you're participating in on various blogs. There's a Firefox extension so you can click while on a blog and it will automatically track that conversation.

Some of those look addictive. Right now the only FF extension I use is the Payperpost toolbar to show me where there might be paid opportunities in my everyday doings. I tend to get annoyed with too many ad-ons getting in the way of each other.

Default Not a plugin per se, but...

What about Flock?

It's based on Firefox, so all your Firefox extension/addons work with it, and it comes with built in tools for media (flickr etc) browsing, blogging, online bookmarking, a drag-n-drop clipboard a feed aggregator, photo upload tool, and manages your account for various social sites (Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, YouTube, Photobucket, Piczo).

Just my 5c (ex GST)

I'll second Honest Dollar's vote for Google Reader. Bloglines was getting a little sluggish.

Also I use ScribeFire all the time.

I just discovered Internote - it allows you to put stickies on webpages you use - e.g., post to-dos or quick notes. When you pull up the page again, your stickie displays right where you left it. I just started using it, but so far I really like it!
