There are few blogs that always have good posts - informative with original insight. I will like to suggest http://blog.moneyaisle.com/ and the post about CDS. Real good stuff!

This is the best one to read about what's really behind the bailout of Freddie and Fannie.

Might be a bit too controversial for WB, but we recently did a post on what effects marijuana legalization/decriminalization would have on the economy: http://masteryourcard.com/blog/2008/...t-the-economy/

We also did one on keeping joint or separate finances: http://masteryourcard.com/blog/2008/...rate-finances/

How To Protect Our Finances From A Market Crisis?

With the stock market nose diving and banks failing every other day, it's natural to think about protecting our hard earned money and assets from the current financial crisis. For a common person, most of his/her assets are either stowed away as savings in a bank account, or invested in a portfolio in the stock market or vested in "material" assets like real estate, precious metals, automobiles and likes.

Default Secure Retirement - At What Rate Should You Save For It?

Secure Retirement - At What Rate Should You Save For It?

General savings guidelines are good to some extent since they at least get us started on saving for our retirement. But they might not be customized enough for getting a good nest egg in place in proper time. In the worst case they might not be realistic. For example, it might not be possible for a person to achieve the mentioned savings from their earnings in real life. In such scenarios we often find ourselves questioning "Where can we find a savings rate which is realistic and achievable for our particular scenario ?"

Default Millionaire Mommy Next Door blog hacked/moved!

Would you please share the news that Millionaire Mommy Next Door's blogspot domain was hacked/disabled? Therefore, I've moved my blog to http://millionairemommynextdoor.com.

I explained what happened and offered suggestions on how to protect yourself from losing Google application data in this post: http://millionairemommynextdoor.com/.../hacked-moved/

Thank you!
