Figuring out a name for my blog

Some of you might remember me mentioning that I was putting together a deal to write a blog for another site. Well, I guess I get to pick my name and I'm just not feeling really confident about that today. The topic is personal finance with a bend towards military families (basic PF plus stuff that might be military specific.)

Anyone have any brainstorms? (Hermione, I know you have a clever way with words.)

I appreciate all suggestions as long as they are either decent and/or funny. I literally can't think of one good idea tonight.

Gee, thanks Khorrell, but I can't take all the credit; my sister and I often work together to come up with our names and stuff. We're trying to think of some ideas for you and will post when we have some good ones.

Only problem is we don't know much about the military. Are there any common military-specific finance terms that you can list here for us to work from? Or anything about yourself or your family?

That's a reasonable point. The military does use some odd terms. I've been trying to come up with something to do with the name for military pay stubs, which is LES (for Leave and Earnings Statement). I'm sure there are more acronyms that would help but it seems that I'm so immersed that I can't see that they aren't common to the real world.

This was a frustrating process for me as well. I had (what I though were) really great ideas for a name for my blog. However, when I went to register the domain the names were already taken. I wanted the name money tree and ran every available combination until finding one that was available tress full of money.

I don't know a whole lot about the military but you could call it Personal Finance Camp (I *think* the the abbreviation PFC is a military rank for private first class and the "camp" part is sort of like bootcamp)

That may be a little dorky though =P
