Default The Frugal Duchess invites you to her book party!

Sharon "The Frugal Duchess" Rosenberg is our favorite kind of royalty: Fabulous and frugal!

Sharon is inviting all Wise Bread readers to join her at her first book party in New York. There's Sharon, her new book, and free treats. It's a frugalian's version of heaven.

If she holds more parties in other cities I will post the info here as I get them.

Here are the details for the New York party:

Date: Monday, August 11, 2008

Time: 2-3 p.m.
Location: Starbucks @ 424 Park Avenue South

29th & Park Avenue

New York, New York

That doesn't look like a very frugal location, but it does sound fabulous.

I may know a couple of people in the area. How big is that particular Starbucks?

Are frugal people even allowed to enter a Starbucks?

Saving at Starbucks.

One thing I do when I am on the road and want to indulge at Starbucks is get the smallest size of what I want and have an espresso shot (or two) added. The exact price escapes me, but it's always been less than the larger size. I get the extra jolt I need without paying for 2-3 coffees. Just a thought.
