Help with blogspot

Hi, I need help moving my blog from blogspot to my own hosted website. Tips would be greatly appreciated. Or how to do it. I don't want to lose all my old posts and comments. I tried using the blogspot help but it didn't work.

Also I might be willing to pay someone to do it for me. Please contact me livingalmost@gmail.com

If you pick Wordpress as your blogging platform, there is a built in functionality where you can import posts from a Blogger/Blogspot blog.

I tried but it keeps giving me problems. It refuses to let me do it.

Can't you just copy the HTML?

From what I understand, once you leave blogspot you cannot take comments with you. I use Haloscan, though.
