Introducing Frugaltroph: Frugal food hacks

I started experimenting a lot with cooking last year and have been wanting to start a cooking/food blog for about 6 months now. But my sister who complains that I already spend too much time on my current blog Pecuniarities said I'd never help out with the housework if I had another blog (in my defense I do all the shopping, errands and finances/bill-paying! ).

Well, now she's caught the bug and we've started a new project together. It's called Frugaltroph -- read our intro Welcome to Frugaltroph! to find out the meaning behind our name and motto -- which we plan to make a weekly column at Pecuniarities but which we will also aggregate to our Frugaltroph website for those only interested in food and cooking.

Our objective is to offer time- and money-saving meal ideas, cooking hacks and recipes. Check out our first post: Cup-o-Cakes & Tup-o-Cakes: Easy, Frugal Portable Desserts, a way to save and be able to enjoy fresh cake whenever you want some or to pack as a dessert or snack with a school or sack lunch.

We've been so busy with another project that we've been slightly negligent with all our blogs lately. We do actually have a new Frugaltroph post written up but just waiting for me to do meta data and tags and put up. I hate doing meta data, hence the procrastination.
