Finally, after a year and a half, I've managed to reach over 1000 RSS subscribers. It seems like it has taken forever but I finally made it.

Congrats! You will find that as long as you keep providing value to your readers, your numbers will grow at a faster rate. Success begets success. You now have enough subs to have "social proof," a psychological/marketing concept where people see the high number of subs and they want to join because everyone else is.

You may now experience something of a snowball effect. Higher numbers get you ever higher numbers.

I can't even imagine getting over 1,000 in that period of time. I'm been going at it for 8 months now and have under 50. I don't know- maybe my content is lacking a bit? I don't know! Help would be appreciated.

I look forward to bursting through to 3 digits much less the 4 digit barrier!

Agree with Remarkablogger about the snowball effect relative to your growth - crowds attact crowds... and in the same boat as Fin Nut as I still need my first crowd!
