Courtesy of USAA, it is an article on Teenagers and Holiday spending. I'm glad my kids haven't reached the teenage years, and I hope that I've set a good example for them, but it is scary!

Our latest post is by my sister: Beautiful Homemade Christmas Ornaments from Eggshells

She started making these last week and they're really quite pretty. Check out the post for pictures.

Default The best advice I gave myself in 2008

I looked at all my posts this year and selected the top 30 to review. If I followed all the good things I was suggesting, I'd be a millionaire!

But it was helpful to see how I related to myself, to others, and to the earth through the writing that I did.

http://facetothesun.com/2008/12/advice-gave-2008/

I would welcome your thoughts and comments. Grace

My yearly review of the Thanksgiving and December stuff, Reflecting on the Christmas Past talks abuot my holiday notebook and the notes I keep to make each successive holiday season easier/better/faster/mo' better than the last one.

After we moved this summer, my binder was missing. I was so worried! It was in the very last box I unpacked, that had been hiding between the corner of a bookcase and the curtains in the living room. Who knew a binder could make me so happy?

My latest post was about strategies for setting and keeping New Year's resolutions (or more generically for any significant goal). Pretty soon, I'm going to have to follow through on my own tips after I finalize my game plan for my own resolutions.

Some of my blogging goals for 2009 are at http://frugalnyc.blogspot.com/2009/0...-for-2009.html

I think this post about credit card use was useful http://frugalnyc.blogspot.com/2008/1...ting-your.html

Also this post came out of left field, after a snow storm, or should I say ice storm http://frugalnyc.blogspot.com/2008/1...gging-out.html
