New to these forums. I really appreciate how friendly and helpful people are to each other in these forums.

I blogged successfully for a few years, ending the blog in 2007. But I am back at it again. This time the blog is aimed at not only helping people understand basic aspects of personal finance, but I am also interested in helping people under stand what their automatic thoughts are as it relates to money, as well as individuals unconscious spending patterns.

Hello,

I just found this wonderful forum today. I saw this thread and thought I'd add to it.

My blog is called GrabTheApple. I partnered with a guy who has a very rare set of experiences and a unique set of skills as a result. He lived through the 2001 economic collapse of Argentina and believes that the United States is heading toward a very similar situation. He still lives in Argentina today and has been reporting about the situation there for many years now on his own blog.

Our GrabTheApple blog is an effort to help educate people about what is happening in the US, why it's happening, and how they can prepare. The information we provide isn't the usual "have a cabin in the wilderness and live off the land" type of survival information. To the contrary, we try to help people learn how to be properly prepared based on practical, real-life experience, not guesses or wilderness survival theories.

We understand that people have real lives and responsibilities. Many of these people are beginning to realize that something isn't right and that they need to start preparing for more difficult times, but in a practical, rational manner that fits into their every day lives. That's exactly the type of information that we provide.

I hope everyone will stop by for a visit. We also have a forum, so if any of you are interested in adding your thoughts, we'd love to hear them!
