What's the best way to see who links me?

If you just want to see who's linking to you, in google type:

link: www.yoursite.com

You should get results showing websites that link to yours. There's also a really nice plugin if you use Wordpress called 'WP-Live' which lets you follow the path your visitors take (on your blog) in real time.

A couple of useful tools I've been using for a while are:

• iWebTool Backlink Checker
  Just type in your domain name and it will bring up a list of all the sites to link to you. This tool is quite up-to-date and shows new links fairly quickly. The site itself has other tools like page rank checker and lots of other goodies for webasters.
• Google Webmasters Tools
  Lets you submit a sitemap for quick indexing of your site (when I started my new site last week, I submitted my sitemap and my site was indexed by Google within a day), see how the googlebot sees your site, set domain preferences, and see all internal and external links to pages on your site. This links report can take several months to update, though. I think it's updated every 2-3 months, so if someone links to you today, you may not see it on there for a few months. But it's still a useful tool.
