Wordpress.com increase their free space quote

Wordpress have increased their free space quota from 50mb to 3gb, you can read about it here

I thought I'd mention it as it might come in handy for reference.

This is really helpful. I like the wordpress sites; they're really pretty sites and fairly easy to build I hear.

Yeah they are reasonably easy to build and they have some ok templates. The only downside so far is that you can't have adverts on wordpress, one small discrete link is all they will let you have.

There's positives and negatives to all software I would imagine. Unless someone has found the perfect blog platform software, of course I'd love to hear about it, lol.

You can't have adverts on the wordpress hosted wordpress sites, but if you put wordpress elsewhere you can. I have wordpress, but not on their site and I have advertising including Adsense as my host is mroe than hapy to let us do our own thing so long as its legal.
