bed bath and beyond coupons - no expiration

If you have ever gone in the store, they may have asked you for your address so they can send coupons. They can be 20% to 30% off a single item or $5 off a $15 purchase.

The awesome thing is that even though they have an expiration date, the cashiers will honor them. This came in real handy around the holidays--my mother and I had saved up multiple coupons and used them all on gifts.

Stores in Ohio are this way... has anyone had similar/dissimilar experiences?

Here in CA they honor the expired coupons too. Once in a while they will send out a 20% on the total purchase (usually just on single items) and when we re-decorated a bedroom it came in handy for all the bedding etc. Also, Linens & Things will accept the BB&B coupons and vice-versa.

I don't know that they are affiliated, but for sure they take each others coupons.

I'm pretty sure Bed, Bath and Beyond and Linens N Things are not affiliated. They only take each other's coupons because they are direct competitors (don't want to be undersold by the competition).

I didn't know about the expiration date though. Maybe they just have the same barcodes for all those coupons, so the expiration date might just be a way to entice people to spend money sooner rather than later?

Bed, Bath and Beyond bulk-mails coupons to every address in my zip code every other week or so it seems. I don't think I ever signed up with them but I got coupons anyway. Linens and Things has coupons in the Sunday newspaper. I haven't been shopping at those stores much, however. The only things I need from them and could use those coupons on are replacement brush heads for the electric toothbrush but that's an infrequent purchase.
