Talking Comcast Matched AT&T Offer

I just wanted to let readers know that was able to get my cable internet bill.

Yesterday I received a mail offer from AT&T for DSL without a phone line for $37.99 per month. I have been thinking about switching to DSL however I did not want to have a home phone line. I called Comcast and told them of the offer and asked if they could match it. When the operator returned to the phone I was surprised he beat the offer by lowering my monthly service fee from $42.99 to $34.99 for six months. It is a savings of $48, but worth a 5 minute phone call.

Wow! I wish I could do that but I don't have the leverage. DSL isn't available on my street.

Whe I had Comcast in another state, every couple of months I would switch back and forth between the Bronze cable package and Silver cable package. Even though I was not a new customer, by getting a different package I could still get the promo rates.

Although my poor husband would have to keep asking me "do we still get this channel?"

LOL
