Reputation: | I don't know about the rest of the world, but here in Arizona our local electric company is sponsoring 99 cent energy saving bulbs in stores. We found 23 watts (equal to 100 watts) as well as the 60 watt equivalents for 99 cents in Fry's. So keep watch, or call your electric company and ask if they're sponsoring them anywhere. I say sponsor because they have stickers on them that read, Special pricing made possible by APS. We stocked up |

Reputation: | yay! The L.A. County Public Health agency was giving them out for free at the Farmer's Market yesterday. I guess they're really pushing them! I heard that regular light bulbs are going to be illegal in a few years.
