Reputation: | The USPS provides some shipping supplies (boxes, envelopes) for free. Just check out their website. It is www.usps.com. You can order them online and they will ship them right to your door! |

| Senior Member | I had this done when I was shipping soy candles. We also have stacks at our local post office which is handy.

Reputation: | Just remember that if you use these boxes to ship, you have to ship using the method the box is designed for. Get a free Priority Mail box? You have to use it to ship Priority Mail. A lot of people turn the boxes inside out and try to use them to ship via another method, such as media mail. Not only is this illegal, but the post office can and will open the box, see that it's a Priority Mail box, and charge the recipient for the Priority Mail shipping. Somewhat amazingly, you can't even re-use a Priority Mail box to ship using any other method. Even though it's already been used once to ship Priority Mail, it still can only be used to ship Priority Mail (the thinking being that people will just beat up a new box and pretend it's a used box to get around the rule).
