Holiday Video Game Deals. Lots!

The holiday is just upon us, just as the year draws to a close.

It wouldn't be good to spend too much money, honestly, but if you're looking to buy some video games for yourself, or for a friend, etc. This might be the time to, right now, today, this week.

Best Buy, Circuit City, etc all are having their own separate, exclusive deals. But don't forget about price matching. Now all you'll have to worry about is getting there before the masses, and before they get their fingers on the prize you've been wanting to buy and reward yourself for the hard work you've done this year. I don't know much about video games, but people keep telling me that Madden is the "must have" game all the kids want for Christmas.

But here's my dilemma. If it is the "must have" game, then isn't there a good chance that my cousins already have this game?

Can you recommend some sleeper hits that are great but most people overlooked?

It doesn't quite have "sleeper" status by now, but Guitar Hero is awesome. You wouldn't think it would be fun, but play it for 15 minutes, and you won't be able to put it down. No matter how lame you think people pretending to be rock stars are.... you will become one of those people!

It's that fun.

Don't give it no mind, Rock Band is much better!!!

And if you are embarrassed to play Guitar Hero in public, imagine having 2 of your buddies playing on plastic guitars with you...heheeheheh.....

Guitar hero is indeed awesome. My friend has both GH and Rock Band, and says the latter is even better, but demands more than one person to enjoy. Guitar Hero is worthy of solo jams, but is also still a great party game.
