| Member | Green and black teas tend to have the most antioxidants I believe and white teas are low in caffeine because young buds are used. |

| Senior Member | Pomegranate juice is very high in anti-oxidants. There is also a drink called Purple that is a combination of a couple different super fruits. I haven't gotten to try it yet but I've heard good things about it. Not sure of the cost either but it comes in single serving bottles. www.drinkpurple.com |

Reputation: | Have you tried Snapple White Tea yet? I don't even like tea but I thought it tasted really good and that has a lot of antioxidents! |

| Senior Member | If you are looking to get health benefits you want to try and brew your own not buy in a bottled form. The amount of sugar and other ingredients to help make it shelf stable and the length of time it was brewed ago aren't a benefit. Most bottled drinks take advantage of supplement status and often don't even add enough of the ingredient to make it worthwhile. Blueberries, acia berry, goji berry, pomegranate all have good antioxidants along with some other exotic fruits. Most are sold in green or white tea blends by Celestial Seasonings or teas in the health food section. You could also stop by the health food store and see what they have on hand for loose tea you can mix yourself. |

Reputation: | As mentioned above, Green and Black teas are high in antioxidants. My favorite brand of green tea out of several I've tried is Celestial Seasonings. We also love Bigelow's Earl Grey (blank tea with bergamot extract). It's great with or without sweetener. We notice significant positive changes in our health when we drink teas regularly. As for other drinks, we used to love Trader Joe's antioxidant drink with mango and some other fruits. It's been several years since we've been to Trader Joe's because there isn't one where we live now, so I don't remember exactly what else was in it. Possibly blueberries.

Reputation: | You can also make a tea with ginger and tumeric root plus lemon/lime juice and honey to taste. (You pretty much just bring the ginger pieces or powder with tumeric powder and citrus to a boil, turn off the burner, and strain it into a cup.) Tumeric is said to be a powerful antioxidant, and ginger is always good for you. The claims are cancer prevention, anti-inflammatory, etc etc. The taste is earthy and takes a little getting used to, but isn't bad. It will stain like crazy, so don't use your favorite tea towel. :-) You can read more about it on Dr. Weil's website. |

Reputation: | White tea has the highest level of antioxidants. Green tea and black tea are just older versions of the same tea leaf that have oxidized. Hence, the lighter the tea, the more antioxidants. I recommend buying loose-leaf tea rather than bagged tea. Bagged tea tends to be a much lower quality (the leftovers after the leaves have been packaged and sold to better markets). Buying online is a good way to sample different kinds of teas. I love white teas with lychee flavoring. White tea is really good (as is green tea) for lowering blood sugar. |
