Reputation: | My best buys have been in good name clothing for amazing prices. Jones NY, Eileen Fischer, and others. It takes some patience, and more important consistency to look regularly, but I've found some amazing pieces. |

Reputation: | I shop at TJMaxx and Marshalls primarily for three things: 1. Purses - I just bought an adorable green purse by Nine West! 2. Shoes - Again, Nine West is a favorite. I can find good brands at low prices. 3. Workout clothes - I recently took up running and love shirts with "wicking" fabric to keep my cool. At TJMaxx and Marshalls, I can actually afford them! They always seem to have plenty of options. |

Reputation: | I buy socks at Marshall's. I also peruse the shoe aisle at Marshall's because I am always on the look-out for nice leather-soled flats for to wear during the day instead of the usual sneakers and flip-flops.

Reputation: | At the two Marshalls stores close to me, the best buys are the random home decor and kitchenware. Even has the cool Euro brands that go for $$$$ at stores like BedBathand Beyond. Clothing is a hit or miss...you really hvae to pick thru the racks. Also I've noticed that even though there are designer labels, the quality is still "off." For example, the Ralph Lauren polo shirts were thin cotton and practically see-through. APparantly, they keep the Blue and Black label high quality for department stores and send lower quality (but still w/ horsie logo) to Marshalls. Go figure. Still, you can score very well if you're looking for athletic clothing. TONS of the dri-max and performance quality tees and shorts for a couple of bucks. For those of us who dont really need to wear Juicy velour while working out =) |
