Reputation: | I had read about the "Affluenza" documentary on PBS, but I had never been able to find a copy to watch without having to buy the video/DVD. I just stumbled across the video on YouTube and was able to watch it for free. The documentary is about ten years old now, but I think it's still an accurate assessment of our modern consumerism. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-dib6hSlcU If you have trouble finding links to successive segments of the video, do a search for "affluenza part". There are a total of six parts to the video. I'm afraid that I've been back-sliding the last few years on my plan to follow the simple living philosophy. |

Reputation: | Yayyyyyy! Thanks so much for this post! I placed a hold on this at my local library about three months ago, and still haven't received it. Now I can watch in the comfort of my own home. p.s. the book is AWESOME. One of the few I've actually purchased (other than Your Money or Your Life) over the past year.
