Reputation: | Sometimes I throw chicken, one cup of rice, a cup of water and a jar of salsa in a covered baking dish, throw it in the oven on 350 for 45 minutes, and there's dinner!! Rice is cheap, chicken is usually on sale and you can pick up jars of salsa at the dollar store. Sometimes I don't use salsa, but throw veggies in and top with gravy or cook with a cream of mushroom soup. You can also use different flavored salsas. The peach and pineapple salsas give it a totally different flavor. (Can you tell I am lazy much? LOL).
