Yes, they do. And a comforting thought - every dollar you save is worth two you would have to earn to replace it (due to all the taxes and deductions that come from our checks)

They say with inflation a penny today will be worth ten cents in a decade.
As a business operator I was always taught, watch your pennies and your dollars will fall in line.

I don't know who says this, but they've got it just about backwards. Inflation makes the money you save today worth less 10 years from now. It's interest that makes it worth more, but inflation cuts into that.

i never got into saving change too much. I do save it... because there's really not many options... but I would rather just transfer money into a high yield savings account. So, until my change jar can start cloning pennies I'm gonna stick to digital savings

That's what I'm always looking for- ways to save that don't hurt too much. Like having it automatically withdrawn from my paycheck is good, too.
