I used to make my own iced tea and re-bottle it in the old Pom Jars. You could do the same for Fuse.
I also use them to store dry things like herbs, lentils, popcorn, rice etc.

Making your own tea would def. be a great idea. Storing items or just saving them and cashing them in later would work as well.

Oooh or you could use them as piggy/change banks.

  • makeshift vases for fresh flowers or for cuttings of plants you want to try and root
  • salad dressing cruet jar (mix ingredients, tighten lid, and shake)
  • fill with water and use in fridge for bunches of fresh herbs
  • "sand bottles" craft projects for kids (if you can get the labels off)

Quality glass bottles I will use for vinegars and other liquids by adding a pouring spout, wider mouth jars are used for homemade condiments (ketchup, mustard, salad dressings, etc.)

We have a clothing/costuming business (for dogs - Franga Designs ) so we have tons of little things like buttons, pearls, beads, etc. We like to use pretty glass bottles and jars for storing all these things because it makes our sewing studio look nicer than storing them in plastic bags.

I also save bottles for mixing my own salad dressings, keeping lemon juice I squeeze ahead of time for tea, and transferring things that were originally packaged in flimsy plastic bags.

If you're thinking of making a coin jar, my sister wrote some instructions on making a cover for an attractive homemade coin jar.

I used to carry Tazo bottles filled with powdered drink mix to work and fill them at the water cooler to cut my vending machine spending.
If you like baking, you could use one as a rolling pin and the caps can be used as tiny cookie cutters. They're also good for mix in a jar gift packaging.

I have a bunch of Ramune (japanese soda) bottles with the glass marble in them. I have been trying to find a reuse for them too.
I can't remember if Sobe bottles have labels that come off or if they silk screen paint the labels on? If you can remove the labels you could paint designs on them with paint pens. I got some at the craft store that work on glass and are like writing with a magic marker.
You can also get tapered corks at most hardware stores if you need something other than the original cap for a bottle.
