| Member | I have been making my own lotions for a couple of months now, and have been able to find beeswax pearls at our local healthfood store. Which reminds me...it's time to make more lotions!

| Senior Member | I'll have to try that one. I have one that appeared out of nowhere that drives me nuts as its on my neck and I constantly think its acne and scratch at it.

Reputation: | I ran across this tip the other day. DIY Biore strips. Elmers glue or scotch tape. Supposedly scotch tape is what the dermatologist that invented Biore strips used in his office. I tried it and didn't have very good results but I was using generic tape from Target. Maybe 3m tape works better? I tried the Elmers glue thing. Your supposed to put a thin layer on the area in question and let it dry then peel it off. Sort of like when you were a kid and you could peel thin sheets of glue off your fingers after it dried. I tried it and it did work pretty well. I didn't get any sort of weird breakout after either. I also read somewhere that Suave makes a cheap version of biore strips. |

Reputation: | Here's another good one for (larger) skin tags: wrap dental floss around it at the base, tightly, and hold it there for a few minutes, pulling the floss tightly at both ends. The skin tag will fall off! |
