Bowling sure costs more in NZ. It is usually pretty cheap around the midwest.
One of our local parks has horseshoe pits I know some other cities have Bocce or lawn bowling for free.

Yeah it is expensive, but it's offset by the beautiful bush and countryside, that only costs the price of petrol. Besides that, Johnny Depp was at Piha beach this week, what a nice surprise meeting him would be, lol :0)
