Reputation: | Okay, to be frugal and creative I am going to need your input. My son is entering his pumpkin carving/decorating constest. He wants to decorate the pumpkin as King Tut. Costumes on the net would work but they are $25 an up. Any creative glue gun, material, staples and paint sugestion costume gurus out there? Thanks in advance. Or any other suggestions that you are doing this year for your kids that are creative? B~ |

| Senior Member | so the pumpkin needs to be king tut, not your son? paper mache would be my guess. Use a wire understructure for the weird curved headthingy. Leave the bottom open with some long wires and you can just poke them into the pumpkin to attach it. Same with the curved beard thingy. Then he can carve the eyes and nose and mouth.
