| Member | $44.95/month for 10mbps cable. They tried to upsell us recently for $10 more a month to get faster downloads...but I hated to tell her we were already getting more than that. Hehe |

Reputation: | I currently pay 15.99 for DSL as part of the phone bundle but I understand the price is increasing soon. DSL is not regulated as your phone service is so they can make the price whatever they want...same with cable...although I have found DSL to be much more reliable than cable (Charter) broadband. |

Reputation: | $19.95 / month for Cable. Probably get 3MBps although sometimes its faster. DSL was far more reliable. I get the package combined with cable and a phone line but I only use the phone line for a fax. Thinking of dumping cable but DSL is not fast enough at a reasonable price. SoCal |

Reputation: | Mobile broadband flat $35/mo, no contracts or personal information required, but I did buy the "matchbook" sized USB modem for $50 when I started out. I get service anyplace there is cell phone reception (everywhere except for the normal poor reception in the mountains). I like being able to access internet from my car, hotels, etc.

Reputation: | $30 for 1.5Mb/s DSL. This is a "dry line" - no dialtone - and no contract. I think it's a rip-off. Korea gets 100Mb/s. |

Reputation: | I pay $40 per month cable line. Also have the phone and TV package but I am going to shop around because with taxes I think it bumps me to $140 after the initial 1 year sale price. Any suggestions in NY? |
