Reputation: | I used to do TONS of surveys, until I realized that I was giving them hours of my life to get an "entry" into a "sweepstakes" or "monthly drawing." I still get a lot of survey invitations, but I only attempt the ones that offer money. I get a few dollars a month from Survey Spree. They send the money to you through PayPal, so no checks to cash. Their surveys aren't too long, and if the survey errs out, you can tell them and they'll credit you what you would have gotten if you'd qualified and completed the survey. (Surveyspree® Feedback Forum) Some sites are not like that. They "err out" and that's too bad for you! I've been with i think, inc. for years and they are legit. Just last week, I cashed a check for $1. I want to say I've also won $50 in one of their drawings, but it was a long time ago. Viewpoint Forum offers points that are equal to dollar amounts, but I'm not exactly sure how the ratio works. Right now, I know that 1200 points is equal to about $33.00. One can earn up to 150 points per survey. (Viewpoint Forum) My Survey offers points that are equal to dollar amounts. If you have 7000 points, that's equal to $70.00. I qualify for quite a bit of those, so I have a nice amount banked up. I am going to wait until I earn a bit more to cash out, though. American Consumer Opinion is another one that pays. They are a lot of fun as well because you can often test products. For example, once I got to test cookies! After you do the testing, you earn about $4. Plus you get free cookies! Harris Poll gives you points that you can turn in for merchandise. I'd been with them for years, had amassed about 10K points, and cashed them in for magazine subscriptions, gift cards, a lap fan for my laptop computer, an optical mouse, and one of those foot spa things. Valued Opinions offers many paid surveys, but qualifying for them has been next to impossible for me. Doing surveys through Inbox Dollars is a sham. They will take all of your answers, tell you "thank you for doing this survey," and then all of a sudden, you don't "qualify," even though the survey is completed and submitted. A waste of time. I was heavily active in Greenfield Online for years, but I started to feel as though they were spamming me with five or six invitations a day that I never qualified for. I finally left them, they were too much of a commitment with very little payout. NPR is one that offers "points" that you can enter into various "raffles," as does Ip-sos. I rarely bother with those. I started doing surveys because I just enjoyed answering questions, and seeing new product concepts, and testing new products. But as my time became more precious to me, I became more picky about the ones I answer. Right now, I always go for the Survey Spree ones that offer PayPal credit, the Viewpoint Forum, American Consumer Opinion, and MySurvey. Hope this proves helpful! |

I've been on MySurvey for quite a while too. The good thing about them is if you don't qualify (and they determine that a few questions into the survey), you'll get the points anyway. For rewards, I pick merchandise from their catalog that I can use. For example, I thought their backpack, duffle bag, and lunchbox carrier were good. | |

Reputation: | I do a few of the surveys. I'll second the votes of confidence for Harrispoll and eRewards. I've cashed out a good number of gift cards from Harrispoll and already got some Borders bucks from eRewards to drastically reduce the price on a Christmas gift. Recently, I just started trying Zoompanel and have accrued a fair number of points there. The downside to them is that the points gets you mostly random tchotzkes (no cash options, and few gift cards). Some of those tchotzkes are mildly useful (and can at least be regifted). InboxDollars takes a real long time to accrue the minimum $30 to cash out. But I have actually qualified for surveys and accumulated money from them, though it's not very often. I never sign up for anything that doesn't give you points or money of some sort. I pass on the raffles. |

Reputation: | I have an account with Pinecone research. They used to pay $5 per survey but now they pay $3 per survey. The payment is very prompt but it took me 2 years to find a link to join. I just found the link recently on sitemeter's site but it is gone now. You are not suppose to tell people where the most current link is and the companies that give out the surveys are all very big brands.

Reputation: | I belong to several survey sites but am getting fed up with them because they keep sending me surveys that they deem me unqualified for after I spend several minutes filling it out. And it's always information that they already have about me from my applications and profile surveys. I'm starting to think these things are a waste of time.

Reputation: | I've done a few surveys but only for flybuy points or a cash reward of sorts. I received a $10 gift card today in the mail as a thanks for completing a health survey here in NZ. I'd forgotten about it so it was a nice surprise in the mail.

Reputation: | Another survey site I've been participating in is Shoppers' Hotline. The payout isn't much -- it's around a few dollars per month -- but I just remembered that because I recently used the reward balance to get a new toner cartridge for my printer. |
