Default Increasing income

Does anyone do any of those online surveys that promise to give you some change for each one you complete? they seem so fishy to me. If you have done them, do you have any websites that you can recommend?

Default Online Surveys

Hi, I have the same question as you. I would love to know about those surveys! Having my identity stolen and other problems, I am very leery with such things. I hope someone can help us.

I tried a couple out a year or so ago. None seemed to be anygood. Kept answering the survey then they'd go, "Thank you but we've filled our quota for your demographic, have a great day." So of course I wouldn't get credit.

Unfortunately the 2 survey companies that I use have been closed to new applicants, but there are legit ones out there.

I do surveys online occasionally. ithinkinc is a pretty decent one - I did a survey from them and received a check. I looked over the check and it seems fine, no small print anywhere, and I double-checked their website.

Pinecone Research is the best, I hear, but it's VERY hard to break through. They advertise to select groups of individuals on certain websites, and at times they have openings, but it's hard to get in. But when you do, I hear it's great.

MySurvey.com is the original one I signed up with; they're good, but not great. It's very dependent if you're in an age/income/demographic that they want. I've only gotten maybe 10 surveys from them in the course of the last year, but it's a good place to start and legitimate.

I've signed up for a few sites I found that were recommended on the internet. Unfortunately I have no time at the moment, but I'll come back later today and post the links. I haven't earned anything as such yet but I've started to gather credit with some of the sites.

The main problem that I've run into with these sites is that they refuse to actually send your payment until you've earned $50 or $100 with their site. At 80 cents per survey (which has been the average on the sites that I've used), it can take forever to get enough for a payout.

Thursday Bram, I definitely get what you mean. That's the problem I have with one of the survey sites I recommended, My Survey. So annoying.

ithinkinc sent me a check for $1, so no problems there.

Also, I forgot to mention this one! e-Rewards is an awesome one. You do have to wait until you have ~$20 to cash out (usually in the form of miles, points, etc. - check it out, you'll see what I mean), but for each survey invite you receive via e-mail you can get between $1-10 per survey. Plus, if you get an invite but don't qualify to take the survey itself, e-rewards gives you $0.50 towards your account.

I selected Upromise as my vendor/sponsor, so any money I get there gets connected to my Upromise account. I'm going to just let it sit there and do its thing, and then I can apply those to my student loans when I graduate college. Even a few dollars towards the loans will be better than nothing! And all I'm doing is taking surveys.

Honestly, I tend to think that my time is much more worth than the few dollars (euros) you may get there. I see it like collectibles coupons with the newspapers, at the end of the day you would save time and money if you just go to the shop and get what you want...

I signed up for e-rewards with Upromise as my beneficiary for my son. It's pretty easy and they do credit your account even though you may not qualify for the survey. However, in order to cash in my credit, I had to use like $20 in credit to get $5 for Upromise money credited to my account. There are no other ways to use the credit the way things were set up so I may not continue with the program, or sign up another way separate from Upromise.
