Once in a while Subway has coupons in the Sunday newspaper. Some of our local restaurants have specials nights, too. Like if a order a cheeseburger and Fries on Mondays it's $4.99 instead of $7.99. Always feels good to catch those!

I switched from coffee to tea too, nice weekly savings!
I like to treat my dogs well, so I cook brown rice with chicken thighs and green beans and mix it with their dry kibble. They love it and it's much less than buying canned food to mix.
I cook large meals a couple of times a week, then I separate the meals into smaller containers. I don't have to fire up the stove every day, just pop the meals into the microwave. Also it makes taking lunch to work hassle free. I also buy the 32oz container of yogurt & a 1lb bag of frozen berries, I portion the yogurt and berries out for the week into small containers. I get 5 servings from the yogurt and 10 servings from the berries and the yogurt is always good to go.
We have 2 zone (portable) air conditioners, 1 by our bed and 1 in our living room we stay cool all summer with the small ACs and do not notice ANY increase in our electric bill.
I hate thrift stores but love antique malls, garage sales and swap meets, they are cheap, social, & entertaining, not to mention the bargains that can be had!!
1 More thing......Trader Joes, Trader Joes, Trader Joes!!!
