I don't have anything especially expensive that I want to buy. A few minor(100-300 bucks) things I'd like, but my birthday is coming up and I hope I get a couple of em hehe.

Maybe buy a plane ticket to see fam on other side of country. Though that wouldn't max it out *shrugs*.

I'm so impressed that y'all have so few wants.

I can think of a huge list...

- an MP3 player, an external hard drive, a stereo, and a technology consultant to make it all easy to use

- comfortable, kid-proof living room furniture that will magically look good and last forever

- a bigger (sigh!) car for the 4 kids and their friends. I'm always amazed at the things I learn listening to them talk in the car. I want to be the #1 carpool Mom!

- a personal trainer!

There's nothing right now that I want enough to max out my credit cards. I guess if the opportunity came up for a once in lifetime trip somewhere (Europe or Australia) I would definitely consider it. Or maybe if the opportunity to take a wonderful job in a wonderful location and all I had to do was pay to relocate. I think the potential outcome in those situations would outweigh the risk I would take on with the debt. Material things aren't worth it to me though. I like the security of being debt free.

I only have two credit cards and I'm planning on getting rid of one of the two after the middle of this year. The combined credit limit for the two is below $15,000, so I can't do much with that. Maybe buy a car or several thousand Subway footlongs.

My thoughts exactly. Why would I want to do that?

Wow, even thinking about that question makes my heart sick. I would never ever think about maxing out the CCs, even in a dream. I'm a big fan of only buying what I can pay off in a month.

I couldn't get much... I only have about 6k in credit and there's not really anything I want bad enough to max out a credit card for... the only thing I really have on my list right now is a digital camera.... which I probably wouldn't need a credit card for.

In this day and age, the cost of living...... honestly, I think I would use them to help people who are hurting. There are so many military families and people who are losing their homes, sitting in the dark without lights and food etc. All because they can't afford it. I do not have much myself, but I do what I can.

The combined total max limit on the two cards I have is only about $3500. If I add our HELOC (minus what still on it) DH and I would only have about $5k. There's no debt on the credit cards, the HELOC we are in the process of paying off. Anyway, if I had $5k and 24 hours to spend it...

A dyson vacuum, a tortilla maker, our crib mattress, the wood for DH to finish building the crib, the Stargate SG1 series on DVD and probably a new car stereo. That totally wouldn't use up the whole $5k, but that's really pretty much all I am wanting at the moment. DH would probably add a couple of tools to that but I don't know if we would spend the whole $5k.
