Default Is 24K is pure gold

I have gold ring and gold bracelet. my gold ring has 24K and bracelets 18K how can I identify pure gold.

Your ring is made by pure gold. I think 24K is pure gold. Its only my idea but i am not 100% sure about it.

24K = pure gold
18K = 75.00%
14K = 58.33%
10K = 41.67%

You divide the Karat by 24 to determine the percentage of pure gold in a piece. (e.g. 18K 18/24 =0.750 = 75% pure gold)

Nothing less than 10-karat gold can be legally marked or sold as "gold jewelry" in the U.S. (it varies by country).

FYI...

Karat relates to the properties of the metals.
Carat relates to the weight.
(They are not two interchangeable words)
