I liked Fantastic Four. But I'm against making Jessica Alba invisible just on principle.

Juno, Juno, Juno.

I saw it three times before its nationwide release. It's that good.

1. Spider-Man 3
2. Shrek the Third
3. Transformers
4. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
7. 300

I think these movies were great. Spiderman 3 was good, and I enjoyed POTC a lot. Esp. Jonny Depp makes it pretty funny. *Rum? Where?? *

Overall, most movies on the list are ok.

Ratatouille and Transformers were the only movies this year I wanted to own so I could watch them again. Some of the other movies were good (like Simpsons, 300) but not so good I wanted to always be able to see them anytime.

I really liked Eastern Promises, Bourne U, and Grindhouse(this was 2007 right?!).

This weekend I'm going to have to see No Country for Old Men. Original plan was to just buy it wheni tcomes out on DVD, but I'm hearing too many good things and can't wait any longer!

I just saw the Simpsons movie, and I give it two thumbs up. I didn't have high expectations since I usually don't like movies based on shows, but the Simpsons movie was fresh, smart, and simply hilarious. I think it is the best comedy of the year.

There are a few movies that I've heard a lot of good things about, but I haven't got around to seeing them. I wanted to see Sweeney Todd and No Country for Old Men, but they aren't playing any more where I live. I also want to see Juno after many recommendations. I'm excited for Youth Without Youth, Coppola's latest film. To those that have seen these movies, what are your thoughts on them?

Let's see, what movies have I seen last year. I actually think 2007 was a good year in movies.

Some of my favourites this year were The Lives of Others, Persepolis, My Blueberry Nights (though not quite as good as I had hoped for), 2 Days in Paris, and 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days. These are in no particular order. I'm sure that I've also missed some.

Persepolis
How is that movie? The comic is supposed to be a classic, and given the current showdown we have with Iran it must be a very emotionally charged movie.
