I noticed that you have asked a lot of questions about jewelry, but since this forum is mostly finance and frugal living related, you aren't getting many answers. May I suggest you take your questions to one or some of the many jewelry forums out there. Just google "jewelry forum" and you'll get many results, of which the following are just 2 from the first page:

http://www.jewelrycommunity.com/
http://www.banglesandbrides.com/

Good luck.

Here is a secret little tool you can use to make a quick determination of any type of jewelry you receive as a gift:

Look at the jewelry that the gift giver is wearing.(if any)
Look at the quality of the clothes he/she is wearing.
Go to the window and see what kind of car he/she drives.

Then, ask youself this question...
"Would I loan this person $20?"

There ya' go...pretty easy, eh? lol, lol

Ok, kidding aside...I concur with the good advice from hermione. I will save you the time of searching...go here:

**there will be a pop-quiz on this material tomorrow at 8am sharp. Be on time and bring a sharpened #2 pencil. hehehehe

Well i don't have any information of this kind. I think you need to contact with your local jeweler. He 'll better guide you.

Local jeweller seems the best bet. Many jewellery retailers usually provide the appropraite certificates when you buy... did you not receive any?
