Reputation: | Was wondering if everyone voted already and what their experiences were. I got to the polls pretty early and had no trouble, though I did see lines forming in some of the other districts in my area. |

| Senior Member | I got up early to vote before work. I got there only 15 minutes after the polling place opened and there was a line out the door already! The line moved pretty fast and things went smoothly. It took me about 40 minutes start to finish. |

Reputation: | We voted by mail last week; have been doing that for past year and a half or so. It's great. Only costs $0.42 (stamp), no driving and gas, no standing in line in the cold (it's really windy where we live). And there's no Starbucks here to get free coffee. Truth be told, if not for vote by mail, we probably might not always make it to vote - we seem to have like 2-3 elections a year here - is it just California or our county? Before, we I was only aware of 1 election every 2 years.
