Default Difference between man and woman...

I thought it's a nice insight and it's a fun way to look at how different we are.

How men save money
Peter wanted to buy a $100 games software but he decided not to buy it. He went home and think, "Good decision, I save $100"

How woman save money
Peter's wife, Mary came home and said, "Look at this fantastic dress! It cost $200, but there is a discount of 50%. I save $100"

See the difference?

That reminds me of a funny story from when my wife and I were dating.

Her: "Look, I buy this burger and get a free song download!"
Me: "Uh, you could buy two songs for the price of that burger..."
Her: "Uh... shut up... I just wanted the burger anyway."

The lesson is that what seems like a deal might not be, and sometimes people try very hard to rationalize purchases.

In defense of myself, if not my gender, I think that's stoopid, lol, though a lot of women seem to rationalize it that way.

This guy gets home from work really late. He wife asks why he's so late, and he says, "I decided to save $1 by walking home instead of taking the bus." The wife, though, is unimpressed. "If you were going to do that, you should have saved $10 by walking home instead of taking a cab!"

Like most funny stories, it's cute, but its humor depends on stereotyping. Either Peter or his wife could have done exactly what the other one did.

True that. Peter would have said the same thing Mary said if he had bought a widescreen TV or other "toy" for half off.

Corporate-ese would not be saving but "cost avoidance" -- that always makes me think.
