I loved the concert of the Black Eyed Peas. The tickets were kind of expensive for me, but definitely it was all worth it.

The best concert I've gone to was Nickel Creek at the Warfield in SF. They played for 3.5 hours and did a hilarious cover of Britney Spear's Toxic.

The best concert I've ever been to was Aerosmith. They rocked!

This year I saw Styx, Def Leppard, and Foreigner. They were awesome!

Some of the best concerts I've ever been to are the smaller bands in the small venues. The Breakfast Club is a great band that sings nothing but 80's music. Zoso is also an awesome Led Zepplin tribute band.

Radiohead. I'm not too frugal when it comes to their shows.

Wide and varied music tastes.

Joanne = Floyd is one I'd have liked to see and Queen :0)

I went to see an album release recently for a band called The Bleeders. It was really heavy, great fun. I took some photos and put them on my Uni blog.

I saw The Walkmen and the White Rabbits together in concert in Milwaukee last weekend. They sounded great!

  1. Andrew Bird (saw him 2 times)
  2. Nellie McKay (saw her 4 times -- extremely interesting and funny performer, except when she's down)
  3. Sia (next month will be the 3rd time I'll see her)
  4. Cousteau (saw them 3 times - - I don't think they're together anymore)
  5. Jarvis Cocker (saw him last year -- pretty fantastic)
I'm definitely not frugal when it comes to seeing live music :P

I haven't been to a live concert in years, but back when i did that sort of thing my all time favorite concert was the Foo Fighters in a small club in Minneapolis (back when they were brand new, and Nirvana had just died with Kurt Cobain.) Dave Grohl is a consumate showman, and is hilarious in concert. Never heard someone who could scream so loud and long and still sound good.

Aerosmith (my first concert)
Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Greenday (free in SF, so much fun)
Pearl Jam
Rush (the best so far)
Transsiberian Orchestra (their xmas stuff was BORING but man it was fun when they played their regular stuff)
A couple of concerts with a bunch of different performers from that Radiohead guy to Tenacious D etc.)
