Do Want.

It sucks that Uncle Tupelo used to play the town I lived in fairly regularly, but no one had turned me on to them at the time!

It's been a long time since I've seen anybody live, 'cept little folk fests and that sort of stuff nowadays. Ticket prices just seem outrageous anymore. Prolly my favorite live acts that anyone would have half a chance of knowing were Joe Jackson and REM, and Smashing Pumpkins before they were big. I always liked seeing club acts better than arena acts.

The great thing about Uncle Tupelo is that that many bands were influenced by them. Even if you can't see them any more, there are a lot of reasonable facsimiles out there.

Son Volt is coming to town here, so I may be adding them to my list as 5C.

I'm going to go with Alex on "Radiohead" I saw them at Suffolk Downs in Mass. and they were amazing.

I was really impressed with Tom Petty live, and Andrew WK put on one of the most fun shows I've been to. A friend took me to a Gwar show once, which he accurately described as "the best executed display of poor taste you will ever experience."
