| Senior Member | it seems like this general discussion is not the place for selling items... and it seems like multiple posts about cell phones is a bit spam-like. |

Reputation: | I was going to make a post like this as well. Maybe wisebread needs more moderators or something to clean it up fast. Also, if the 'promote your product/service' forum posts didn't register as 'new posts' when we click it, I'd GREATLY appreciate it. |

Reputation: | One of them from yesterday I reported to Will, however I have not today. I'll send a message to Will about the ones from Jade. I would be open to being a moderator. I am on WiseBread Forums several times a day. |

Reputation: | How about some good Spam recipes? Actually, I am pretty neutral about Spam. I think I may have encountered it once as a child, at the house of a friend whose family was of pretty salt-of-the-earth midwestern Scandinavian farming stock. We ate it with some regularity in Bolivia (along with sardines and other canned meat products) due to the situation, and I learned to like it ok. Then, during the short period of time when I was a single-mom-grad-student-food-stamp-recepient, I was never able to go through the entire monthly allotment, so when I no longer qualified and had a month to use up the huge surplus of benefits, I stocked up a lot of nonperishables, including Spam, and ate out of the pantry for months. I think that was my late round of Spam, though. I wonder why canned tuna is totally normal in the U.S., but Spam (along with sardines, canned salmon, etc.) is viewed as totally declase. |

Reputation: | I agree about the image of Spam vs canned tuna/chicken. Nothing better than a fried spam sandwich with lots of mayo and tomato's. |

Reputation: | Yeah, I don't think that we need more moderators. Will does clean them up really fast. I think that they are pretty persistent spammers, different names and all. Coming back day after day. We must be an inticing crowd to advertise to. :P As for spam recipes. I like the old standby: Spam, Miracle Whip and pineapple slice. I used to love those when I was a kid and burned 8,000 calories/hour. |
