I came here a while ago and have found much value in the members contributions consequently I've hung around.

I also like that there are no great big flashing banner graphics and ads in peoples signatures, I find those so distracting and annoying, lol. This site seems very professional and the members are respectful. The admin are responsive too.

Ok, so that's maybe not my story, more of what I like about it here, lol

I found the Wisebread blogs while exploring links on my other favorite blogs. Then I discovered the forums and thought it was a neat place to meet people and share my story!

Wise Bread was linked from other personal finance blogs. That's how I found it.

I found it through millionaire mom's blog which I found through another blog which I found from a forum I am a member of, and decided it was rather nice here. Its a very pleasant community and its fun talking frugality with people who aren't quick to judge and shame.

I found Wise Bread on the problogger job board, after I decided it would be cool to be a professional blogger (also after I did graduate work in blogging and digital communication). At some point, I realized that I needed to 1) write about something I knew about (personal finance and career issues mainly for me) and 2) get some help with networking and the Admins (Greg, Will, and Lynn) are great about that. I had no clue about the technical aspects of blogs b/c I had used blogspot in school and thought everyone used that or a similar free version.

I love the forums though it is hard to find time to visit while I am also blogging, reading blogs, holding down a semi-day job, and washing 1-3 loads of dishes everyday since I cook at home to save money.

Wise Bread was featured on the Women's Wall Street blog, so I followed the link here. I signed up when I noticed the giveaways (I'm a sucker for free stuff). I like the variety of topics in the forums, and I think I'm going to take a look at the blog side now, as well. I think I'm becoming an addict!
