Reputation: | As you can tell by my name, I hate my job. I spend a lot of my time fantasizing about having super powers. Seriously. I've given this a lot of thought. The ability to stop time is the best one. Can you imagine having an eternity to plan every moment of your life? When some jerk say something rude to you, you can stop time for a whole month just to think of the greatest reply ever. OK, so there are flashier powers like flying or indestructibility. I guess those are ok too, but really not very practical. What kind of superpowers do you wish for in your daily grind? |

Reputation: | I don't know if this would be a superpower, but the ability to be in multiple places at once. I could work, do the dishes, yard work and stay in bed and read at the same time. Sort of like super-multitasking ... but it might be really tiring. I might have to think this through a little more ...

Reputation: | I've always wanted to be Elastic-woman, so I could change the laundry with one hand whilst cooking dinner across the house. Though I'm thinking that the ability to stop time would serve the same purpose, and several others as well, as long as I'm only stopping everyone else's time and not my own. |

Reputation: | I've always wanted to fly. But, then, I design airplanes for a living, so yeah, not a big surprise there. But, I think the more useful super power would be teleportation. Imagine not having to spend time commuting, or in the "getting there" part of traveling. I know that people say that "getting there" is half the fun, but they obviously haven't been snowed in at Ohare or spent 16 hours in a van with 12 high school kids (twice in one week! I love "my kids" but after about the 12th hour I'm often tempted to pass out the benadryl.). Plus, then I could be there to see my nephews get on the bus for their first day of school and have lunch with Dad once a week and all that (my family all lives in different states). Oh how I long for the days when the Star Trek transporter is a reality. And, for those who enjoy thinking about cool super powers, I highly recommend the book and audio (podio) drama Playing for Keeps by Mur Lafferty. It's a fun story of super heroes and super villians and people with lesser powers who are no less super. The print version is available on Amazon, the audion version is available for free at podiobooks.com and probably on iTunes as well. |

Reputation: | Flight would be excellent, it might not be very practical, but it would certainly save on transportation costs I guess. |
