I love Hulu's TV shows but I didn't know they had movies! I will have to check them out.

Hulu has added a bunch of new shows lately, one of which is Stargate SG-1, which I'd never seen before and is quite good. A couple of other new shows my sister and I watch together are Lie to Me and Dollhouse.

And I can't wait for Burn Notice Season 3 coming June 5th!

I don't think Hulu works in Spain

I like to watch things like Prison Break, The Office, Flight of the Conchords on Mega Video... not as reliable but it'll have to do!

Where in Spain do you live? I went to Spain for 2 months in the summer between my junior and senior years in college for work & language experience. I was in Sotogrande/San Roque in Andalucia working with polo ponies but people there came from all over the world and almost everyone spoke English to me except a few locals. It was the best summer of my life. And the ice cream was soooo goood.

But no, Hulu only works in the US. I believe the network sites only work for the US, too.

I'm glad you had a good time over here! It's lovely down in Sotogrande, and it must've been coo working with ponies

I'm in Fuengirola, I guess about 60km or so up the coast from Sotogrande. It's not quite so beautiful up here, it's very overbuilt, but I love it. Everyone is speaking English here, it really doesn't feel like a foreign country at all! I don't take ice cream myself, but the coffee here is to die for!

Such a shame about Hulu. It's annoying to have to watch the US TV shows on Spanish TV with the appalling over-dubbing...

I remember the awful dubbing. I first started watching Dawson's Creek there (never saw it before in the States) and I was really confused about the characters' names. Choey? Pacy? I couldn't tell if they were just badly pronounced or plain weird names to begin with.

Amazon is having a DVD sale right now. You might be able to get some of your favorite shows for a good price - some are selling for as low as $15 a season. I just bought some last month. It's so nice to be able to watch them without commercials.

Ha! Yes, what's worse is they only seem to have one bunch of voice-over actors so it's the same ones for all TV shows and movies!

Thanks for the heads-up on the DVDs... unfortunately there's no room in the budget for any at the moment

Yeah, I noticed that too with DVDs. I like to watch my DVDs in French or Spanish sometimes and all the people's voices sound the same. It's kind of fun, though, if you don't have to live with it all the time.

I just received a total of $80 in Amazon GCs this week from various surveys and programs I belong to and am considering another DVD shopping spree (I just used up about $180 of GCs on DVDs last month). I had been planning on saving them all up for Black Friday weekend DVD sale but November is so far away...
